In the magnificient region of Percé, at the eastern tip of the Gaspé Peninsula, hundreds of thousands of birds gather early in spring until
late fall. Over 287 documented species frequent Bonaventure Island,
the Percé Rock, Corner of the Beach and the surrounding mountains.
Early to late spring always brings spectacular sights. During the nesting period, you will be able to admire the gannets diving and feeding as well
as a variety of whales along the coast.
As fall comes along with all its colours, witness the southbound flights
of these magnificient birds. And maybe you will be able to admire the charm and savage beauty from a sea storm. And don’t forget the first frost that will hasten the changing colours of autumn and witness
the arrival of a whole new list of winter birds!
